McClain's by the lakefront on Girod Street is pretty good.

Isabella's on Florida has good pies. I really enjoy their BBQ chicken pizza that has an abundance of garlic knots on it. They make a mean meat lovers pizza as well.

There's always Johnny's on 190 by Northpark. Order a hog heaven with Jalaps and you will be set.

I heard that new restaurant on girod has good pizza. Can't remember the name of it though.

McLeans on the lakefront is good and has a cool atmosphere. Coscinos on causeway approach is good for a dive atmosphere and has live music.

If you have kids check out pizza man up in Covington on 190.

Excellent draft beer at Pizza Man.

Norma's Pizza Kitchen on 190 is also really good, imo. Norma has a new arm sleeve that she's proud of. Norma cooks a really fine pie.

Duman artisan pizza kitchen is the new one on Girod. It blows everything else out of the water. It's more of the Domenica/ANCORA type pizza, but it's awesome.

Mclains used to be my go to, but don't love the bagel crust dough.

Isabellas is solid but not great.

Is that place Colognas (sp?) still open on Collins? Big fan of that place. Authentic Sicilian pies, and the owner is a really cool guy.

Passed Collona's yesterday and it was closed down.

To OP, Cosino's.

If y'all like Isabella's then I suggest trying Neely's. It's on the other side of Mandeville but it's legit

Isabella's is terrible. Really unremarkable.

Lighthouse Pizza is Madisonville might be my favorite RN. It's a bit under the radar but damn good.

Pizza man is badass

You're right about Lighthouse. I've had some good ones from there as well

This post above is spot on. You can tell all of the ingredients are very fresh. This pizza is easily the best pizza on the north shore.

I'm not sure if they deliver. It's also the nicest place and very clean. Sadly, whenever we go there, no one is there. I am not sure it stays open very long.

Not in any particular order:
McClain's
Bosco's
Mama Rosa in Abita
Coscinos
Pizza Man
Not a fan of Neely.

Want to try Duman and Lighthouse. Does anyone know of their beer selections?

I haven't been to Lighthouse, so I cannot comment.

Duman has your normal craft beer selections. Nothing to get too excited about. From memory, Fat Tire, Canebrake, Abita Amber, a couple Tchefuncte selections, etc. I do not remember any taps, I think they were all in the bottles, but I could be wrong.

The layout in the place is a bit awkward. There's a few weird things like they don't serve soft drinks, which can discourage families with eliminates kids from being there (not a bad thing by any means, but it's not very kid friendly).

It's basically just a square room with tables. They also need to update the outside to make it look more inviting and pop off more. It's a good location just not maximized to it's full potential right now.

Yeah those are normal and they usually have Pranqster which is a decent craft beer, but as you said only in bottles. The place isn't really a fun hangout type place - there's no bar or anything to encourage people to come for a social gathering, happy hour, etc. It needs more of an identity and a livelier atmosphere.
