Just curious on everybody's thoughts on good places to eat here in Mississippi.

King's Tavern in Natchez
Crescent City Cafe in Hattiesburg
Mary Mahoney's in Biloxi

Just a couple off the top of my head

i am partial to vines in centreville. nothing better than hunting in the morning and loading up on some down home cooking for lunch.

Dinner Bell shouldn't be mentioned in this thread.

I would have to say City Grocery or BR Prime. BR Prime is def. the most expensive by far, not that it means anything.

Vines will do if you are hungry, but think it is good because of extreme lack of other options. Donnie Vines basically prints money there during hunting season.

Yeah, the good thing is it is very consistent and you know what your getting when you go there. Sadly, it used to be better and prices were cheap as dirt.

Best fried chicken is at "Old Country Store" in Lorman, Mississippi. Alton Brown says it is the best he has ever eaten. I had to try it. Damn good arse chicken. Lord have mercy!!!

Is there still a place in Jackson called Hunntingto Grill or something, went thier a few times about 10 years ago and it was great, kinda of a highend place with lots of exotic game on the menu, I got some great Elk, and an African Lobster tail, hope it is still open
