Best non alcoholic drinks

So trying to get some ideas from the food board on this. Family will be opening a restaurant shortly and trying to get ideas on some drinks. (We will be serving alcohol as well). An example of one I like is a lavender tea. I only get water wherever I go unless they have something like that on the menu. Any thoughts greatly appreciated

Soda, tea, or water. I'm not sure what else you would have unless you are a specialty place. Having specialty non-alcoholic drinks sounds like a sure fire way to lose money to me unless they have a really long shelf life

Depends on the clientele you want. And the type of restaurant. If soul food, blue/red/grape drink. Also, lavender tea sounds disgusting

It’s actually quite good, I forget where I had it, (I think like a craft burger place)
It’ll be a fast casual restaurant with market vibes.

Yeah not sure on the margins. Wanted ideas first then would see if feasible or not.
Another example just thinking about would be a specialty lemonade etc

If you're in baton rouge I wouldn't even mess with it. You'd have to be in a large metro in a trendy area for it to even be worth looking into

Specialty coffee/tea.
Maybe even hot chocolate?
Different kinds of animal milk.
Unusual fruit juices.
As others said, I’d be concerned about profit margins on these things. Those are a few that sprung to mind for me, though.

Do not get carried away with the non alcoholic stuff
I gave up alcohol a few years back after 45 plus years of heavy drinking ...i looked at mocktails etc cause I keep a pretty extensive bar and like making cocktails for my guest
I made some for myself a quickly realized I was just making smoothies and soda
Have one na beer and look at other thread on this have a few bottles of sodas like swamp pop or cane sugar soda from Mexico to make it different from gas station pop
Virgin Mary
Do a smoothie and throw in a na blue curaçao and grenadine if you want to make it look like a cocktail
Most of us just have tonic and lime to mimic cocktail
And like other person said look at recipes. Fo a aqua Fresca probably a hybiscus for dark red and sweet and then a light color citrus on and throw in some herb to make sound expensive this is popular in Mexico and most high end party receptions always have this out
Like other person said real alcohol is the profit and just something easy for us na guys to hold while we eat and others drink
Good luck with your business

Govt Taco at the White Star Market has a couple of Aguas Frescas options that are pretty good, I would definitely opt for that over a typical soda option.

I've really developed a taste for the fresh fruit juices they serve in Latin American restaurants.

do you and your customers a favor...no soft drinks.
water, cold teas, coffee
the la madeleine suggestion is a good one. Go in there and look at their beverage station. I bet they make double on the hibiscus tea what you would make on a coke and you are not poisoning your customers
