It's in Lafayette on the corner of Johnston and South College. Good burgers, but I disagree about the best in Louisiana. IMO, not even the best on Johnston St. I'm a Judice Inn fan.

Does he have a restaurant or will I have to go to his house to try it? Also, a friend of mine is opening up a hamburger place in River Ranch, but that's still a couple years out.

I'll have to diasagree. I've only had three, and they were all pretty recent, but they were all pretty rubbery, dry and small.

Port of Call.

By the way, Lafayette is the most overrated (food wise) city in Louisiana.

So is this the Lafayette people feeling left out by the North Italy Monroe people?

Best in Lafayette maybe but sorry I have not had a better hamburger in Lafayette than I have had at Port of Call or a even a couple of other NOLA hamburger places. Im not even a big fan of Southside Bakery at all. Although is funny that they do a "rich boy".
