Max's Pool Hall in Lafayette

Don't know about the best in La., but the double cheeseburger from Max's is definitely a tasty 3 napkiner!

Went to Port of Call yesterday. It was good probaly in my top 5. But not near as good as southside and judice inn plus it was 11 dollars for a cheeseburger that wasn't nearly as big as southside which charges 6 dollars. Southside and judice are still number 1 port of call was very good but did not match up with the other two. And that's that

I had one the other day. The bread was good, but the meat was horrible. Way too salty and greasy. I could only eat half of it and threw the other half away. Topping things off I had my 4 year old son with me and was about to head back to Lake Charles. Stopped by Fresh Pickens first to get some fruit and vegetables and it hit my gut. I had to shite so bad, but didn't want to make the kid hang out in the public bathroom with me while my arse exploded. So I had to wait until I got back home 1.5 hours later, damn that was miserable.

i've never tried soutside, but i hear good things. for whatever reason i'm just always drawn to judice inn. we usually go every christmas eve and it's packed. Most prob for the same reason we're there- nostalgia and good burgers

and the roided up guys who work there. this has always been a requirement

I rarely eat burgers when I'm in lafayette. I'll take a pulled pork sandwich topped with pork sausage from Johnsons Boucaniere and a side of the best boudin in the world over any burger in the state.

WOW!!!

Also, I live in Lafayette and have had many burgers at many places and Southside might slip into my top 5.
