Really anything -- Mexican, Thai, Latin American, Chinese, Indian, etc. etc. etc...the list goes on. What are the best ethnic restaurants in town?

Yes, I know BR is not known for this.

Well, best Thai is Rama.
If Marina's is still open then I would give best Mexican to them.
The other cuisines are a little too close to comment on.

Thai Pepper
Bay Leaf
Dang's
La Reyna
Omi/Nine Dragon Noodle House

Nothing really stands alone for Mexican or Greek/Lebanese or whatever they call that nowadays.

It makes me sad that BR still doesn't have a Korean restaurant.

I've heard Rama is excellent Thai.

India's Restaurant (great name) on Essen Ln has a solid Indian lunch buffet.

The chicken is. His sides are pathetic. Pick up a bag of chicken, then head next door to Church's for some decent sides.

Omi for authentic Sichuan. Many good Vietnamese options. Everyone has their favorite.

Thai - Rama and it isn't even close.
Indian - Curry N' Kabab
Greek - Zorbas and again, not even close.

Don't get much meat on the back. I suppose those crusty fried bones are still plenty knuckle suckin, though.

Montana's for really good Colombian. They have the best bandeja paisa...oh wait, they're closed.

Ronnie's Ribs for killer Jamaican...oh wait, they're closed now too.

I guess it's Canes for Baton Rouge cuisine.

I'm going to have to disagree with zorba. Maybe I just caught it on a bad day, but it was very average (the chicken was very dry). I would say zoroona is the best Greek/Lebanese in br.

Did you order the chicken schwarma? If so, that doesn't count. Order something a little more exciting next time.
