I usually just go to Izzo's when I'm in the mood for a Burrito, but I want to try expand my options so I'm looking for suggestions.

We had an Izzo's in Birmingham for a short time, and if that's the best burrito in BR, I feel sorry for BR. That place was terrible.

LOL! didn't say it was the best, but its easy and quick, so that's why I always end up there.

Hangover burrito at El Rio Grande, topped with chili & onions. I get mine with no beans, no salsa.

This is the correct answer... only thing is it is huge, really enough for 2 people.

La Tiendita on Siegen. They make those big Mission style burritos. A million times better than Zippy's or Izzo's.

Izzo's is good, the problem is he grows too fast and the quality at some of them is poor.
Same thing with Lit Pizza.
He's starting to get bigger than he can manage all of them.
When quality suffers it hurts the end product.

Yeah, that’s pure BS. I’ve literally watched the old man make the salsa before.

You guys have a Barberitos down there? It's like Chipotle but better.

They're good, but I got burned out on the burrito.

Bro it’s probably the easiest thing to cook without fricking up. Pick your toppings, put it in the fire and boom you have a pizza. Are you saying the toppings aren’t fresh? Never had that problem at any location

El Rio Grande is nothing special. It’s the Pastime of mexican joints here in town, subsisting purely off nostalgia.

I haven’t had many above average burritos in BR, but the best one was either El Rancho on florida or La Tienda on Siegan

I disagree. It’s my favorite Tex Mex in town and I didn’t grow up eating it. Their enchiladas con huevos is just plain awesome.
