Dearman's is your basic old fashioned burger. No sweet buns, but the shakes are good.

I am just looking for BR places that don't have the damn sweet buns for burgers. They are few and far between these days.

I know Mugshots had them, and Walkons has them. Who else does?

I much prefer a sweet bun over a sesame seed bun straight from the bag. I am not a sesame seed bun fan.

My favorite is potato roll or brioche. Flemings and Bonefish use brioche.

Beausoleil has a really good burger with fresh made fries. Pretty close to my favorite I've had in BR.

I could basically walk there from work, but have yet to do it because I've heard it's overcooked and dry as well.

If all fails, hit up juicy juicy (Rouls), or if you are not afraid to travel to NBR, go to Dixie maid

Not the best burger in town and not chargrilled, but I enjoy taking the kids to Dearman's

The only problem is it may be one of the worst burgers in town.

I am not ashamed to admit I'm a big fan of Twin Peaks burgers with side of chips and salsa.

The size of that thing was a huge turn off for me. I will stick to sammys CFS even though my last one had more damn batter than steak

I'm partial to Louie's. Tramonte's has a damn good burger, it's a lot like a meatloaf. Dearmans is good too.

I've lived in Baton Rouge for the past 10 years now and I've never had the Mason's Grill burger.

The first and only time I had their burger it was very raw. I am not the type of person to send it back, especially a burger.

I don't go there when I am craving a burger is all
