It’s rare that I am in town for brunch. What does BR have to offer?

The Rum House on Perkins has an excellent brunch with traditional and not so traditional dishes. It's a buffet brunch which is even better. Enjoy!

The trick here is to go on Saturday, not Sunday .... it's the same Brunch with 1/5th the crowd.

We went to Mason's once. It was too crowded, dirty and the food was average. But Baton Rouge people loooooove that place.
I tell you where they have a good brunch and it isn't super crowded: Elsie's Plate and Pie. Excellent grits.

Masons is very good, best Bloody Mary. But be prepared for lengthy wait for a table.

Mason's is on my 'never again' list. Chimes East is always nice.
