In the Asian vein...…
The Great Wall on college
Bamboo House had the Mongolian BBQ located just off Sherwood by Harrels Ferry.
There was 1 more that I cannot think of the name on Government between Acadian and Foster.

Bingo, thank you.
I was coming from their POV. Celebs born in England, NYC,etc..they were blown away at the food and the scene. Pleasantly surprised.
I was friends with Mike Jr, we sat with AJ, the DJ, in his booth(behind tinted glass), spinning records, as young kids/early teens, were not allowed to roam. We made it a point to be there for the big stars that had reservations. Del Lago was no minors allowed during nightly hours in it's earliest 1970s incarnation, even if accompanied by parents. In it's latter dying 1980s age, they allowed Prom night kids(well dressed and connected to influential parents)..
But, by then, the sex and sizzle was already gone.

Love your list.
Kansas City John Gaines' Roma Deli sandwiches were my fav. My homies and I lived in apartments right behind there after LSU.
Something about his sensation salad lettuce and toasted bread, took them to another level.
Anthony/Mrs Saia & Pokey use to have serious competition in the Italian Deli category..
Cannatella has now entered the ring.

Bamboo Garden on Essen. What was weird was the quality of the lunch buffet and ordering off the menu for dinner was like night and day. The buffet items were meh but dinner was fantastic.

That’s all I’ve always felt about Hunan. Never thought much of the buffet, but when I order from the menu it’s pretty solid.

Thanks for the verification.
It was in the same stretch of Fla. Blvd as Welsh's Funeral Home (which is in the process of being demolished). Had some good meals there, Maci's and Chalet Brandt with my lady friends when I was young, many moons ago. Desserts afterward were also exceptional![](https://images.tigerdroppings.com/Images/Icons/IconPimp.gif)
