Moved away to Texas this year and have a bunch of family members that a beer lovers. Makes for an easy Christmas gift idea. What are your favorite beers from Texas?
Also, the best place in Plano/Dallas area for beer selections? It seems like Market Street and Central Market have a decent selection.

Specs has just about everything you can think of. I'm not a beer nerd so I don't know what's "good" but I like Revolver Blood and Honey. Made in Granbury

Are you looking for a particular style of beer?

I was just going to get a variety.
They like to do tasting parties so any style of beer would work.

Man that’s a big list. I’d edit your title to say beers available in Dallas and I’m sure some of those guys would respond. It can vary greatly as to what’s available in the major Texas markets.

Tupps DDH IPA
Manhattan Project half Life IPA
Lakewood Temptress
Live Oak Heffe
Jester King makes good sours but their best stuff is tough to find.
The 2 best breweries in dfw don't can right now so you have to go to their tap room or find it on tap at a pub that fills growlers or preferably crowlers. Turning Point in Bedford and Celestial in Dallas. Craft and Growler had stuff from both on tap last night. Up north try Taps n Caps.

The one I go to has more than both the places listed in the OP as well as Total Wine and the Seigals I've been to. Like I said, I'm not some beer officiando, just the 5 or 6 places I frequent the Specs has the most product.

This X 10. One of the best beers in TX and IMO one of the best IPAs in the country.
If you like sours, look for Jester King and Blue Owl.

My favorite DFW year-round beers:
Peticolas Sit Down or I'll Sit You Down (Double IPA)
Peticolas Velvet Hammer (Imperial Red Ale)
Community Mosaic IPA
Rahr Iron Thistle (Scottish Ale)
Lakewood Temptress (Imperial Milk Stout)
Speck's and Whole Foods have most everything you want, as does Total Wine.
