This thread really shows what management can do for a restaurant. Honestly, I would love to stand up and call out a lot of stores in our chain at our national convention. My store does a pretty good overall job and when I see some of the way our other stores are ran I feel like I am fighting an uphill battle.

Best: Chili's isn't bad (although they have started giving the gravy in those little plastic cups that salad dressing comes in, so that bugs me)

Texas Roadhouse is decent.
Piccadilly. (Yes, I said it!)

Worst: Can't really say O'Charley's, only ate there a couple times but they did take my fav. (french dip sandwich) off the menu and you HAD to have the au jus with it. Without it, it was pretty bland.

Olive Garden

There's not much to pick from here in Lake Charles.

Just so all the people discussion Chili's queso know, if you go on their website and sign up for their email list(which they don't verify) you'll get a coupon for free chips and queso. We used to do it every time we went.

I really enjoy your posts, but you've got to take back your comments on Houston's! It may have something to do with the location, but the location on The Plaza in KC is awesome. The French dip is hands down the best sandwich ever.....not called a poboy.

The one is New Orleans is the only one I've ever eaten at and it's been a long time....pretty sure it's been close for 10 years now

There's only 3 locations?

Damn. Now I don't feel bad about going there instead of fat pats.

There are 5 locations. 4 in Louisiana and 1 in Tennessee.

Haven't seen Jason's Deli mentioned yet. IMHO this is a very good chain. The sandwiches are consistently good and the seafood gumbo (believe it or not) is also very good.

I agree with all of this. In 08, we had a tree hit our house and had to stay in a hotel for a few months. We lived at Jason's Deli.
