Hey guys, looking to pick up some boiled crawfish in Baton Rouge. Last weekend I picked up some from that crawfish on the go place parked in the shopping center with Jubans. They were decent, not great. Where do y'all think they sell the best boiled crawdaddy's in BR?? Thanks.

pre-boiled? Interesting...you boil them before you boil them?

My bad, already boiled.

I thought you meant live crawfish when you said preboiled. I was rather confused.

Ok, just messing with you.
The absolute, hands down, unquestionable best in town is Randy Montalbano's on Florida. Please don't listen to any other suggestions. You're welcome.

Good to hear. My girlfriend is from Memphis and in town so I am trying to show her the best without having to do a boil. Also if anyone is boiling soon. Heads and Tails sold us already cleaned crawfish and they were superrr clean. Cleaner than I have ever made them.

Hard to beat Randy Montalbano's but that is in the other side of town for me. I picked up boiled crawfish, shrimp, and snow crabs from Louisiana Boilers on Perkins between Bluebonnet and Essen a few times this year and they were legit.

Is it annoying to anyone else to see the term "already boiled"?
Why wouldnt you just say boiled crawfish?

His previous title and post said "pre-boiled" crawfish. I thought he was referring to live crawfish. But he was in fact talking about boiled crawfish. There are two types of crawfish, during this time of the year, live and boiled.

This is the correct answer. I had some from Tramontes a week or two back and they were good also.

Montalbano's or Tony's are the best.

I like Montalbano’s and Village Grocery, but my favorite is probably Louisiana Seafood on Coursey. Capital City Crawfish is legit, too.
