Yes, I realize there is a F&D Board but this isn’t about the food or drinks served at the restaurants. This is covid/re-opening which is Off Topic, this OT.
Does anyone know of any restaurants re-opened for patio dining as of Friday, 5/1 in the BR area?
I know Louie’s is open.

I drove by Brewbachers on Bluebonnet and there was a huge tent in the parking lot.

Correct me if im wrong, but I dont think there will be any table service. I heard they will be selling food in to go boxes and you are just allowed to eat it on the patio. Its all so stupid, but its a step in the right direction.

Just passed Las Palmas in Central
They have their normal few patio tables open but no one is there
I thought they would have added more

They can’t. The guidelines someone posted in the other thread said they must operate at 25% of what the fire marshal says their capacity is. Tables must be 10 feet apart measuring from all directions

It’s not a patio, it’s just 3 or 4 small tables they have outside the door & it’s a decent sized restaurant, my guess is they could seat more
It seems like a lot if BS for little reward

Several places are adding tents in their parking lots with multiple tables

Superior must have changed their minds. They’re doing that patio they have that’s by the road. The fully outdoor one.

Question: has anyone seen/heard that only members from a single residence can sit at a table?

I have not and I think that would be difficult to regulate.
One that I saw did have a limit of the number of people they would allow on the patio at one time.

Mgr at wingin it told someone who said they had a group coming to eat crawfish that only members of same household can sit at the same table

They originally said that but it’s not in the official guidelines
