I had this masterpiece today from Jasmines on the Bayou so thought I would share. It is a burger stuffed with bacon, cheese, and crawfish topped with lettuce, tomato, mayo, and yes more bacon.

Initial Shot

The Money Shot

The bacon was extremely crisp and delicious. The crawfish tails added some great flavor to the meat. The oozing cheese out of each bite was incredible. This was one hell of a burger.

I love the Rocket Shrimp at Jasmine's, and I like that they use brioche buns for their burgers.

It was $12.95 I believe for the burger and fries. I would have paid $20 easily.

With the closure of Dearman's, Jasmine's burger has moved up to number two on my list.

It's a tasty burger.

ETA: BTW...The Owner of Jasmine's is opening a BBQ Joint in Prairieville (Next to Gold's Gym--the one hit by the tornado recently) called "Hannah Q". It should be as legit as Jasmine's.

Jasmine's has several tasty things on their menu which is something you can't say about City Cafe & Portobello's who both serve mostly crappy over-priced food.

I sure wish Jasmine's would serve another bread with their pot roast instead of that nasty tasting mushy piece of garlic bread.

Some of Jasmine's food is not very good, like the crawfish etouffee, red beans n rice & chicken n sausage gumbo, but the rocket shrimp, pot roast & burgers make up for that.

I've also had their BBQ, and it's just meh in my opinion.

I agree on the crawfish etoufee and their red beans. Not a fan. But their chicken jasmines.. oh man I could eat that every day of my life.
