Any good suggestions for dinner tonight in Austin?

Doesn’t have to be BBQ...

I like Casa Chapala for Tex Mex, although there are tons of other places for that.

Perry's for steak if you're feeling spendy.

Does part of town matter? Any preferences on style or price?

A few of my favorites:

Peached Tortilla
Better Half
Emmer and Rye
Irenes
Uchi
Via 313
Homeslice
Intero
Bar Peached
Kome

Funny how a place with over 4500 reviews on Open Table with a 4.9 rating gets downvoted to oblivion on this board.

It's not a bad place but it's like telling someone visiting New Orleans to go eat at Ruth's Chris.

Tried to go here on Sunday and it was sadly closed even though Sunday hours are painted on the glass :(

Ended up at Péché and it was bomb.

Really? That’s surprising and sucks. It’s really an interesting place and IMO, has a claim to be the best restaurant in the city.

I haven’t been to the Peche here yet, but I’m glad to hear it’s good.
