In Austin for the game and we are at Uncle Julio’s for lunch. Food and drinks were great. Their salsa is legit.

Would love to get Franklins at some point but just can’t see waiting that long for BBQ when we’ve had coopers before with minimal wait and it was fantastic.

Eating at Dai Due this evening. Have heard good things about this place. Will report back after dinner.

Ate at Launderette last night, and only waited 24 minutes at La Barbecue late this morning. Killing it so far.

There are plenty of other good bbq options. Micklethwait, La BBQ (may be a wait), Terry Black's, Stile's Switch, Valentinas, and more.

It's a shitty chain. Go to Valentinas, Curra's, Polvo's or Fonda San Miguel (upscale mex-mex)

So are you asking for recs or just letting everyone know where you ate?

Agreed, my favorite joint to hangout and grab a bite in the downtown area since Dog and Duck closed its original location (RIP) was Hooters because Aussies is always too damn crowded. With the one at north cross mall closed for over 10 years now, the closest one is round rock. Sad!

How was Dai Due? I hope you got their large bone in pork chop. That is their signature dish and it is awesome.

Food exceeded expectations. I had the elk ceviche appetizer and the boar confit and green beans. Wife and her friend had the double cheeseburger and the roasted chicken. They said everything was good as well.
