I’ll be in Asheville in early November. Any good restaurant recommendations?

My nephew, Matt Grush, is a talented chef currently doing popups as "Grush's Cajun Dino Grill". Do a search on that to see where he'll be when you go.

His stuff is great!

I like eating at Wicked Weed and Sierra Nevada.

We had our New Years dinner at the Red Stag Grill. It’s a little more on the fine dining side and is quite pricey. While I often leave places like that feeling unsatisfied and like I spent way too much for what I got, my experience here was the opposite. I would do it again in a heartbeat.

Rhubarb was one of the best meals we've had this year.

White Duck Tacos is a chain, but their location down on the river was a lot of fun. Biscuit Head is great. Burial was our favorite of the breweries, especially on a nice day.

We stayed at the Omni and had dinner there one night. I would skip it. By far the most expensive meal we had and nothing special. Go for drinks and the view and skip the rest.

Limones hasn't been mentioned yet. I enjoyed dinner there as much as Curate. Both are great.

Yes sitting outside at the omni watching a sunset in the evening is really nice. It was early February and I enjoyed the cooler crisp weather.

Get there early if you do this. The line gets crazy, but it is a really fun atmosphere. Great with kids.
