Headed to a friend's pool birthday party today and they'll have the world cup game on. Thinking about bringing some Spanish or Argentinian beer or wine as a gift but I have no clue on brands or best suggestions. They'll be making a meat/chicken/pork paella so anything that would pair with that would be great. Thanks!

For Spanish wine look at Rioja and Tempranillo, for Argentina look at Malbec.

Estrella Damm Lager is a Spanish beer. I've seen it at Total Wine

Be careful if you follow these recs on Tempranillo. Because you will have to look for it every time you go to buy wine. It’s great

make sangria you’ll be a hero

For each 1 btl wine
1/4 cup each triple sec, cranberry juice, pomegranate juice, orange soda, lemon lime soda.
chopped apples, peaches, grapes, etc

you can further flavor it with fruit based liqueurs if you like but I dont

When I was down there every bar had Quilmes or Cordoba Dorado beer. Pretty sure you could get Quilmes at Total Wine.
