Are there any Copelands restaurants left in La.

We had one in Pensacola a few years ago. When they first opened we thought the food was very good. After a few years the food really started to go downhill and even the beer was lukewarm. Shortly after that they closed.

The one in Baton Rouge is in the process of doing some upgrades to the building at the moment so it must be doing well or they are getting ready to sell. lol

They have gone downhill a lot in the last ten years.
There is one in Metairie, Kenner, Elmwood and Harvey I know of, BR still has one and the CCB is open in BR and on St Charles in NOLA.

They've really gone downhill lately, but I went to Sunday brunch at the one in Monroe sometime last year and I have to say that it was pretty damn good.

I'll hit the Sunday Jazz brunch up at the one in Monroe every year or so. It pretty good if you get there early and gtfo. After 11 it looks like a ghetto daycare. Kids under 4 eat free. You'll see some gigantic 4 year olds toting around some gigantic arse plates.

It was way crispier, spicier, and juicier than popeyes. Honestly, wasn't anything like Popeyes.

Having delivered to both Popeyes and Copelands, they use the same everything. It all came from diversified foods and seasonings. This was a few years back.

They have one on Manhattan on the West Bank that I go to when I'm over at West Jeff. Everytime I'm in there I ask myself why don't I come here more often. I love their Eggplant Pirogue and homemade biscuits.
