Nothing came up on search.

I don't think I want the white bbq stuff.

Anything else noteworthy in that area?

My favorite hush puppies are served at the Greenbrier. There was a thread on here not long ago with a number of reccs. I don’t get up there as much as I used to.

Thanks.

Out of town restaurant discussions I guess can pose a trick bag conundrum for the Board Police types.

Agreed. And that one had fewer restaurant reccs than I remembered.

You are wise. Dreamland in HSV and Big Bob's in Decatur were among the worst joints I've ever been to.

Huntsville is a nice area. Gotta be some good places but I don't know where they are.

German food work for you? Ol Heidelberg or Hildegard's

ETA: if a more liquid lunch/dinner is in order, try one of the breweries around the renovated Governors Drive area.

A lot of the more trendy places are downtown. Drove through once on a recent Sunday morning, so hard to get a feel. Along 72 towards headed West, Phil Sandoval's, Rosie's, Texas Roadhouse are always packed. Viet Huong in a strip mall is good. A favorite of locals as well. Grille in Providence looks nicer than casual.

Cotton Row was excellent fine dining when we were there. Green Bus Brewing is on the same block and was very good as well. Valentina’s is supposedly some of the best pizza in Alabama.
