My daughter was a server on the opening crew, of course we ate there a lot and I can say we tipped her well. She loved working there, she made a lot of money. The only day she hated it was Mother's Day. Everyone had to work that day, it was in the middle of exams, and the worst part were low tips that day. People who never set foot in a restaurant go out to eat on MD, and they leave low or no tips.

When she graduated from LSU in kinesiology, which she never used, I told her she always can make a good living as a waitress.

I did really enjoy the food there, with or without my daughter.

There was one off College too, on Bennington, which became a few bars, most recently the Dior club (yikes). Went there for lunch there all the time back in the day.

Would love to get another restaurant back in that location, E of College...

I think I’m going to give that crawfish Roban a try this weekend. Found some frozen LA crawfish tails for $12.99 this weekend and got a couple pounds. Not some huge deal but about the best I have seen in a long while.
