I just had a nice haul. These were around $53. That's pretty cheap considering how expensive these can get.
jackfruit
thai bananas. I'm going to fry these
passion fruit. I've seen these $2 each at Whole Foods. I got 13 for $7.50
rambutan
longan
starfruit. I got 9 for $7
green mango
They also had some mangosteen that I almost pulled the trigger on.

Are these the same as "apple bananas"?

I had a rambutan for the first time at an outdoor market a few weeks ago. I asked what they were and the guy was nice enough to open one and give it to me. Very interesting fruit.

Damn I just paid $20 for like 5 of them from Ideal Market
I've been on the search for Lucuma in BR

Passionfruit is my #1 fruit of all time. I love it. The passionfruit mousse at Cocha downtown is the best dessert in the city IMO.
Had this one. Very odd.

We eat a lot of fruit at the house but mostly the standard variety of fruit found in most supermarkets.
When they are growing wild I'll run out and pick blackberries from those thorny arse vines and if I can find a tree----mulberries.
I have a peach cobbler in the oven as I type this, along with pineapple, blueberries, seedless watermelon and cherries in the fridge.

Love pineapples and mangoes. Have never tried any of the others.

Call and ask Hong Kong market. If they don't have them, they'll tell you when they will get news shipments in.

they randomly have these too. I think they go by egg fruit.

I love passion fruit smoothie. Sometimes I take the pulp and add water, sugar, and ice for a refreshing drink.

You need to try a mangosteen. Its my favorite weird asian fruit.

Any stores in BR have these?

I had dragonfruit in China on a work trip and fell in love with it, but I've had no luck finding good ones here. I've tried a few and they've all been almost tasteless.

not sure I would imagine any of the asian markets would likely have them
