Just saw it's Coolinary. Figure we'd try to get in 2-3 places.
We always seem to pick the worst selections for these though. Antoine's, Pelican Club, Flaming Torch, all meh.

Hoping three are a few must try things. A lot of participants this time.

as it happens I had the coolinary menu at the bon ton last night, hadn’t been there in 20 yrs at least. If you like the bon ton, it’s a great value

It’s not NOLA but I thought the Pepper Mill deal was pretty good

The peppermill one does sound good. Four courses. But we already eat there. I like to use this to try new places. That's one of the better deals though. May do that during the week.

also Coolinary is mostly hype and if you are lucky you save maybe $8 on the bill.

Did upperline last night. 3 courses $39

Everything was good. They have more app & entree options for coolinary than most menus I looked at.

I used the Coolinary $20 lunch as an excuse to try Brown Butter. Didn’t expect too much, and I was pleasantly surprised. The chilled corn soup was a standout.

Pelican Club is usually one of my favorites. I had the one at Commander's Palace last week (mushroom ravioli and seafood stew) and it was very good.

Some place in Jefferson called Hippie kitchen, has three course with wine or sangria for $30.
Place is rated well.

Upperline by far has the most choices. I would go there but they don't do the coolinary on Saturday.

I did August a couple of weeks ago and it was great. You don't have any options, but I thought the chosen items were delicious. They usually only participate in Restaurant Week (which I'm missing this year), not the full month for Coolinary, so I was happy.

Last year I did Avo, and I highly recommend it as well.

Bon Ton is one of my all time favorite places to eat. I used to work right across the street. The pan broiled oysters is something I could eat once a week for the rest of my life.

The only problem with the G.W. Fins coolinary is that they don't have it on the weekends.

I've done Meauxbar and Cavan and was totally worth it. Make it up just in the Cavan jerk-spiced fish. Where COOLinary makes it for the restaurants is the drinks.
