Ok.

You could, or like us, get there and decide to order off the menu instead. Mission accimplished though, they got us in there.

The point of COOLinary is to get you in there and save a little money. Most places you save about 15%, maybe more.

These are places that are already operating on thin margins and just trying to keep their people employed for the month. I don't know why anyone would expect half off type prices. The restaurants would be better to close their doors for the month.

I just threw a number out earlier. We go in with the intent of ordering from the Coolinary menu but end up seeing stuff we’d rather get, Some selections are better than others.

Just saying if you add up what the regular price is vs the pre fixe its not that great of a deal a lot of times.

I think we both go out enough throughout the year to know this is mostly a gimmick as you said, to drive people in a slow time of the year.

It makes no sense to say that. It's a free event to participate in, from the diners side. Saving any money makes it worth it.

Be courteous and most times you can substitute items not on the menu.

Sure, if you are happy with the pre fixe you save some money, no doubt. Never said you didn’t.

if you want to negotiate their well thought out pre fixe that’s up to you.
