It's so gross. I mean, it's bad.

Why would it be illegal?

I remember watching that episode. It was one of the few things that I don't think I could bring myself to try. That, the month long buried fermented fish in Korea I believe, and when he raw, just came out of the vaginia cow placenta off the grass after a cow gave birth.

I tried a little tiny taste of it once and would have gargled with week old douche water to get the taste out of my mouth.

It's illegal in 48 of 50 US states.

Due the poison used in making it.

I'm pretty sure lye is a big ingredient which is poisonous if not done correctly.

Yes, 1 bite and I almost died. The smell alone would knock the maggots off a shite wagon.

It sure looks terrible but not as bad as this garbage.

Although the can they eat looks like on top of already being terrible, it might have been spoiled.

I grew up on it since I was raised in Northeast Iowa. I won't touch the stuff now, but all of the older generation still eats it.

Andrew Zimmern said it is by far the worst thing he has ever eaten. He could barely stomach it. Think about that.....

Is that from his episode in Iceland or something like that? I recall something similar that he couldn't stomach
