I don't know a lot of restaurants that target rural highways as their prime location.

Don't know what this is.

And I wasn't arguing a point. Just interjecting something in.

The only thing I get there is their Chipolte Shrimp Salad with ranch dressing.

Their ranch dressing is actually the best that I have ever had in my entire life.

My stereotype of a good BBQ place is one location, stuck in a shack on a rural highway. Debbie's in Hemphill, TX (I hope it's still there). Wayne's in Livingston, etc.. The zoning laws usually prevent live smoking going on if its in a populated ares. Voodoo's is the opposite, strip malls and dozens of locations. Although I do like Pimanyoli's, it's in a strip mall.

Just adds to the ambience, or lack of it.

This.

The pulled pork and brisket are decent. Corn pudding is probably the best thing they make.

It's pretty meh. I'd get the Carolina sandwich though. Super overpriced for what you get

They cater at work a lot and Im always amazed how low the BBQ expectations are in louisiana.

Try Big Mike's in Houma or The Joint in New Orleans

Voodoo = meh
