I go there if I just need to eat something different. I've never gotten a very hot sandwich. I know the pork cools quickly but they don't seem to take steps to counter that.

If I lived there it would be a different story I suppose, but BBQ is at the very bottom of my list of things to look for in Louisiana.
Kindo of like if I go to Memphis or KC, I am not looking for Crawfish Etouffe or Jambalaya.
You do need to go there. I go down to 4-6 football games per year, and every time I drive away lamenting some item I didn't have time to get. And that's just Baton Rouge.

Go to Pimanyolis instead. Just make sure you check the hours, they aren't always open everyday.
