It's turned into a game for them. "Yeezy, what nasty beer do you have this year? One with coffee? Or maybe a sour one? I WANT TO TRY!"

And so they try, talk about how awful it is, then go back to sipping their wine or Jack Daniels. We all laugh.

They call you Yeezy ?

Shouldn't you be cultivating the minds of the future right now ?

Only when I've had two too many of the nasty beers and start breaking things.

Normally, yes. Today, I'm mostly free until around 9:30. Testing

Not this year. It's at my parents house and it's always incredible.

Dad is smoking a turkey and a roast. Mom is making the dressings, casseroles, and all other sides.

I did go to a Thanksgiving before at an in laws and it was pretty bad. Turkey was cold and there was no symmetry to the dishes. Meaning you'd have turkey and the sides would be peas. Or something like that.

This year is gonna be good.

Some of the things that people make on Thanksgiving blow my mind.

I told you.. we are having Turkey, little smokies, meatballs, and buffalo chicken lasagna at work

Yes. My sister married into a Yankee family, and this year we are dining in Baton Rouge (mother-in-law from Maine). I die a little every time I'm forced to smile as I shovel down more dry dressing and casseroles.

I am always amazed how Yankees could get fat eating that shite.

Well for me it's the truth.

I'll take a dry ham sandwich with my kids over the best meal ever made with turd people.

If one of them was cooking and it was terrible I wouldn't dread going.

I would guess that is pretty normal.

Nothing but chefs in the family so it makes me the worst cook and I still can keep up with them. I let their egos get in the way while I relax and drink.

I'm not dreading Thanksgiving because of it, but my niece makes the mac and cheese, and it's not very good. I want to make it and blow hers out of the water, but no one ever wants to assign it to someone for fear of hurting her feelings. Screw that.

Nope, quite the opposite really.

Same. I learned all my cooking from my uncle and his side of the family is from Laplace and know how to cook. Myself, him, and my grandfather do all the important shite.

My dad said he was cooking something this year and i told him to kick rocks. Dude only knows how to heat up frozen fish sticks

Both sides of my family cook very, very well so I've never had that issue.
