I just tuned in and he's interviewing somebody about a new restaurant, and not taking any calls.

He’ll be taking calls in the 4 o’clock hour. Try then.

Thanks for listening

LOL
I find that Tom generally stays away from controversy or anything that is deemed to be critical of a restaurant.
Probably doesn't want to ruin a chance for possible paid advertising in the future

True, but it’ll eventually be brought up. Too big of an issue for it not to be mentioned on the show.

Tom is always fun when he tries to pretend there's not an elephant in the room.

Funny, I can see him staying away from it because it would take away from the shows premise and I could see management telling him to stir the pot for ratings.

I turned off WWL for awhile because all they would talk about is kneeling for the flag. It was nauseating.

It would probably take Tom a good thirty seconds to remember the name of one of Besh's restaurants. Hell, he'd probably say La Provence as the first one.

Excuse my ignorance. What is your relationship to that show. Just a note - I do not get it in Central Mississippi so I have no pony in the race.

That's a nice understatement.

I especially loved when an old lady would call to complain about a place and he would explain his rule of not naming the place until he asked her. She gives the complaint and then he ask the name.

Upon finding out it's one of his "good" places, he goes on the defensive about the restaurant saying the caller must have done something wrong and that he has never ever had that experience.

I hate how he treats Clark the Gourmet Truck Driver. If I was Clark Id go to one of Toms eat club dinners and spilla glass of wine on him.

He’s dismissive of Clark because of his haphazard way of speaking. I feel he’s pushy with Chef Andrea too.
