We do a lot of blueberry, strawberry and cherry.

I'd love some ideas if anyone else does smoothies for breakfast or sweet tooth killers.

just go down the frozen fruit section in your grocery store. I mix mine up by combining what I can find there.

mangos, pineapple, berries, banana.

thrown in some almond milk and orange juice or sunny d and add some honey or brown sugar if it isn't sweet enough.

Its more expensive, but I prefer fresh bananas, strawberries, and blueberries and mix that up with a wee bit of vanilla yougurt and a little ice.

Edit: and milk or OJ

I do like other said. No real recipe, just throw in a variety of what's on hand, with some yogurt, milk, ice, or OJ for liquid.

Carrots and apples do well too, and you don't have to peel them. I do core the apples, but you may not need to.

I often add a handful of flax seeds, and they disappear into it while adding fiber.

A glug or 2 of club soda at the end can zip it up a bit.

Yeah, flax and chia seeds are easy additions that stay in the background while adding fiber.

Most of these are from an Oxygen Magazine program I'm doing, but I make them for my husband. I prefer chewing my calories.

Chocolate Avocado:
Unsweetened almond/cashew/coconut whatever milk
1/2 banana, 1/4 avocado, 1 scoop chocolate protein, 1 tbsp cacao powder, 1/2 tsp vanilla, ice

Nut Butter Cup
Unsweetened nut milk, 1/2 banana, 1 scoop chocolate protein, 1 tbsp cacao, 1/2 tsp vanilla, 1.5 tbsp natural nut butter, 1 tbsp honey, ice

Tropical Coconut
Unsweetened nut milk (actual recipe is full fat coconut milk from a can, but that made it way too rich and caloric), 1/2 c frozen mango, 1/2 c frozen pineapple, 1/2 banana, 1/4 tsp vanilla, 1 tbsp lime juice, 2 tbsp shredded coconut, 1 scoop vanilla protein, ice

Mint Chocolate
Unsweetened nut milk, 1/4 avocado, handful of mint, 1 tsp lemon juice, 1/2 tbsp honey, 1/2 tsp vanilla, 1 scoop chocolate protein, ice

Chocolate Cherry
Unsweetened nut milk, frozen cherries, chocolate protein, ice. 1 tbsp coconut oil for fat if needed.

PB&J
Unsweetened nut milk, frozen berries, strawberry protein, 1 tbsp nut butter, ice

I'll throw in frozen spinach or kale sometimes.

Every morning:
- handful of unsalted mix nuts(kirkland signature)
- 1 small scoop of chia seeds & flax seed
- 1 scoop protein
- cup kale
- couple baby carrots
- small handful of blueberries & strawberries
- cup almond milk
- couple spoon fulls of plain greek yogurt

going on about 6 years now with that smoothie every morning and you can set a clock to my digestive system

i like the machta powder idea, think i'll steal that

I personally stay awake from blackberries.
Too many little seeds once you blend them up.

ETA: I also try to utilize yogurt in place of milk.

I like this cause it doesn't require having fresh fruit on hand.
A few slices canned peaches
Frozen blueberries
Vanilla yogurt
Usually add some ground flax seeds

Bump. I want to mimic Smoothie King with stuff I can get from Kroger. I bought some frozen fruit combos, whey protein and almond/cashew milk. Now what?
