Southern Classic is the GOAT.

I eat the Many one quit often.

It is really good. And yeah if you hit it at the wrong time you'll be in the drive-thru for a good 15 minutes. I don't eat it often because it's out of way and I don't ever think about it.

Looks like the old Jr. Food Marts (Valero)
Fried Chicken.
Jr. Food Mart is still open in Liberty, MS I believe.

I hadn't heard of this. Will try to stop by the Monroe location sometime this week and give a review!

For the one in Monroe, the chicken is excellent, the sides are kinda average IMO.

I can only vouch for the Valero in Clinton and Jackson, La.
It's better than Leaders in Gonzales, and to me, Leaders is better than Crispy Crunch, and CC is better than Popeyes/Churches/Cains

I went to Tech from 89 to 92 and lived up in Ruston and that where i was first introduced to white gravy on southern fried chicken but it was at a Texaco near I-20 and a campus road!, till then i had never seen white gravy...now i live in Houston and that's all i see!!!!

I wish I could hook all the doubters up with a box. I was slow to get on board, because their business model is to buy out old closed down fast food locations and fry the frick out of some chicken, that's it. It looks dirty from the outside. No telling about the inside because the don't offer dine-in service.
Ol' bird's nest in the "c" having arse place...
But I can not convey to you how good it really is.

The one in Many has about 10 tables or so in it.

It's good, better than Williams and chicken express. Not as good as Popeyes.

They have a slogan that you hear at local high school games...
"chicken fly high,
Chicken fly low,
Chicken fly by southern classic
Don't fly no mo'"

The one in Jonesboro offers sit down service. It has been in Jonesboro for many years and is in the same building it opened in

canes is the clear bottom of the food chain here... I really only ever eat it as a bland, greasy, easy to get down hangover cure...

I can tell none of you have had Ball's fried chicken in Lake Charles.
