Wife and I are going out in Nola next Saturday night. We don’t go out to eat that often anymore because of 3 young kids. Our top 2 options are Justine and August. I’ve been to August once and thoroughly enjoyed it. We’ve never been to Justine, but doing a quick research search on this board and other websites, it seems like the food is mediocre. Has anyone been in the last couple months and comment?

Any other options? We’ve been to Clancy’s, Brigtsen’s, Patois and Carrollton Market in the last 2 years and loved our meals there, so looking for something similar.

Justine is a really cool space but the food wasn’t that great. I’d go elsewhere for a special occasion.

We have always had good meals at La Petite Grocery.

Wife and I ate at Justine a month ago. I liked the place but I thought the food was just ok. Would return for drinks and maybe an appetizer but would not recommend for a special dinner.

Who’s in the kitchen at Gautreau’s now? Had a wonderful meal there years ago. Awesome place.

Herbsaint is excellent, but it can be loud.

Justine...looking at the menu....they have an $18 hamburger.

I'm not spending $18 on a burger ANYWHERE.

Please tell me the rest of the menu is worth splurging on.....because I will go anywhere and give anyplace a fair shake. What else is good there?
