Fair point, I guess I’ll ask the real question.

Does it suck?

Pretty good, but I find it's overpriced for what it is. whiskey is a personal taste, but in my opinion you're much better off with a bottle of buffalo trace for half the price

Not really, but there are much better bourbons at that price point.

I've had the rye.... it's VERY sweet. I mainly keep it one hand for when the women of the group wanna join in drinking whiskey with us instead of wine etc... it's a pretty solid hit there

its for people more interested in a "cool" bottle than a good bourbon.

(and it aint that impressive of a bottle)

It's a solid, but not spectacular bottle. I really like their cask strength. I would not pay over SRP for it or go out of my way to hunt it down.

Not at all. It's one of the better buys out there imo, and their rye is fantastic. I'm sure others will chime in that they don't like it, but you can find that with any brand of anything. I recall a few years back when this board praised it, because that's how I first discovered it. It must've lost it's hip status I guess?

I got Devil's Cut by Jim Beam as a gift earlier in the quarantine. It was very smooth and effective. Enjoyed it enough to buy another bottle. $34/1.75L

The herd decided it was far too easy to find, things must be near unobtainable to be good, its part of the hipster code.
