its for people more interested in a "cool" bottle than a good bourbon.

I like the bourbon, but I don't typically buy bourbon that expensive. BUT the Angels Envy bottle makes a fantastic pepper sauce bottle. Looks cool and easy to handle

I like the bourbon, but don't typically buy it because I don't think it is a good value (overpriced).

Angel’s Envy Rye is one of my favorite whiskeys.

Not an every day sipper, but look forward to it on a Saturday night after dinner.

True. People like things because they're scarce. I myself am a fan of another Old...Old Forrester...

All of their special batches are fantastic, but you can get a handle of the plain old-fashioned 86 proof old Forester for 30 bucks at Calvin's in BR

$30 for 86 proof? I've seen it on the shelf at other places for around $20. The bottled-in-bond 100 proof goes for around $27.

Can't speak for him, but I use it on peas or greens, mostly.

My son and I did a blind tasting a few weeks ago and AE was one of the six bourbons poured. Without any discussion and just comparing our notes/scores, AE came in dead last on both of our rankings.

The greatest hoodwinking of idiots to occur in the last 20 years is the saga of Old Charter.

Until there's a shortage of it.

Iberville and Pointe Coupee drink more old charter than just about anywhere in the world.

And I have no idea why.

Can’t go to a wedding reception in Pointe Coupee without seeing Old Charter behind the bar.

I’ve heard that about it being the county that buys the most per capita in the country.

Would love to know the story behind this.
