Congrats to the winners! holygrale and NOLAGT have consistently placed in the food challenges. This is HoustonChick’s first time on the boards! Way to go!

Thank you to the people who often accept the challenges and submit dishes, and thank you to the new challengers for deciding to play along.

This whole cooking challenge exercise is for fun and learning, both for those who cook and enter, and those who look and vote. Thanks, y’all.

holygrale, would you please select our next challenge ingredient?

I think I want to try that this weekend. How long and at what temperature do you cook the bacon in the oven? I have never seen a potato bag! Do you recommend any brand? I wouldn't mind trying it.

Congrats to all. Each entry was inspiring in different ways from simplistic to the wow effect. The ostrich egg needs a very honorable mention.

I think we did 350 for like 20-25 minutes? It just depends on the thickness of the bacon and how you like bacon cooked. I like mine crunchy, so tend to go longer.

I think I got mine on Amazon. Pretty sure it is this one. It nice, you don't have to poke holes in the potato, just wash it and then wrap it in a damp paper towel and put it in the bag. The paper towel is optional, but helps keep the bag clean. We normally do like 4 minutes, then flip for 4 more. All depends on potato size, but they come out perfect every time.

I made your twice baked breakfast potatoes this morning! Absolutely delicious! I made a simple breakfast Chile replenish with some Serrano peppers, chorizo and eggs to go with it. It was the perfect way to start vacation.

I feel like I check in here almost daily, but somehow I miss the voting window more times than not.

There were some great entries as usual.
