I almost stopped there on my way to the Nutcracker today but my daughter said she was “just not feeling the place” so we passed it up. Sounds like it was lucky for us that she said no to going there.

Sorry that happened to you Rag. I don't know what to say to you having had three bad experiences. I don't blame you for not coming back but would appreciate you letting me make it up to you. Email me your contact info(kevin@tjribs.com) so we can set up a beef rib / ribeye feast. It will also give me the oppurtunity to teach my guys in the kitchen how important it is to do it right EVERY time and not just when I am in the building.

i have been twice. the place has a smell to it that is not appetizing. also, the plates were dated, looked like something from Shoney's. Nothing worth making me ever go back again.

When it comes to ribs, I am easy as heck to please. Really easy. But.... cold ribs would be a deal breaker.

No excuse for cold ribs.

what does taking someone up on a free meal prove ?? as far as I am concerned, he's had two meals after I posted about the under cooked steak to get better and it looks like they haven't as far as i am concerned .. what ? I go there, Beauxnes stands over his cook to make sure he prepares the perfect ribs for me ? what does that prove ? how much managerial education needs to go into serving the food hot ? sounds like give a shite 101 to me ..

I guess the part about teaching his kitchen staff how to do things right when he's not there just sounded strange .. seems like that's something that should have happened long before today .. that is why that sounds strange to me .. that's all ..

My comments to you were in disagreeing with your assessment that he was being a smartass. He wasn't. He was offering you a free meal and he was also trying to state he will work harder at making his employees more consistent.

I don't find it strange at all. In fact, that is what you want to hear from a restaurant owner.

That last sentence just means he wants them to work just as hard when he is gone as when he is there. Nothing strange about that at all.
