Help a brotha out here,
Was talking with wife about these in Rouses. What's the best way to prepare a meal with them? I've never tasted them before and want to see what the fuss is about.

They are already prepared. All you have to do is heat them up. The preferred method is steaming them.
That being said, I have thrown them in with a shrimp boil just to reheat and soak for a couple of minutes and that was really good. Not better or worse than steamed, just different. It is delicious either way.

I don't mind them cold! Otherwise, I wrap in plastic wrap and damp paper towels and microwave long enough to warm them.

Boil/steam stovetop in salted water for 10 min and let soak for 10 min more.
Serve with clarified butter with a dash con old bay stirred in.

Buy them from a high end restaurant on the company expense account.

Try throwing them on the smoker for about 40-45 minutes. They get nicely steamed and pick up some smoke flavor. It's pretty awesome and makes for a great snack during a long smoke.

I’ve been wanting to do that. I’ve had them split and grilled. Delicious!

I think Rouses will steam them for you. I know a lot of grocery stores will do that.
