Neither are very good. I haven't had Curbside. That said my current favorite is T.J. Ribs for the convenience of pick-up. They do an awesome job on to-go orders and with two babies that is key for us.

I might get crucified for this but Back Yard Burgers is more than decent as well for pick-up in a brown bag.

For sit-down J. Alexander's is money. Still haven't tried Bonefish, but from what I hear they are great.

Have never and probably would never get a burger at any one of these places.

I do mind. I told one guy that had shitty tip practices that if he ever came to my restaurant, then i would season his butter knife with the sweat in the crack of my arse... kidding of course but the innocent shall remain nameless.

Gotcha

This is my issue as well. I have a hard time getting away from the prime rib at J. Alexander's since they are the only place in town with it on the menu...and it is money. We went for lunch a few weeks ago and the wife had an envie and got the burger. It was fantastic.

As far as Bonefish, I think I've only been there once. They advertise it as "Kobe" beef and I've heard it is great. Maybe one day.

I had one two at the burger smith in Lafayette. Both times it was good, first time the burger was cooked a lot better though.

I go with Smith Burger and Smith Fries. Nothing Fat Cow has to offer will top that. I really would take sonic or wendy's over Fat Cow. Their meat just has a strange flavor.

I think that flavor is called burnt.

I like the filet burger at burgersmith. They do slightly over cook when i order it medium. Not enough pink, but its by no means crispy like fat cow.

You're gonna pay $12 before tip for a burger, fries and drink.

I got out of there for about 15-18 for a burger, fries, a few beers, and ice cream.

Sounds like you're doing it wrong.

I enjoy burgersmith more. I'm not one for overly elaborate toppings on burgers. Lettuce, Tomato, Onion, Mustard, and pickles do it for me. I will say that my friends who talk up Fat Cow love the crazy arse topping combos, but never mention the burger itself. The meat is terrible and overcooked.

Management has come to ask us about our meal/offer us free rounds almost every time I've been to burgersmith as well. Very good folks it seems.

I moved from BR three years ago and I liked the burgers and milkshakes at cheeburger, cheeburger. But we have a 5 guys in Gulfport and it's ok. I wish they wouldn't put so many fries in the bag because I feel bad if we don't eat them.

I wish I would have gottent that same service. Also my server bragged to me about how he knocked out a Bama fan after the game on Bourbon street, actually I tipped him well. I just hated the excess salt on the smith fries, and the soggy arse bun.

Yeah, I've heard of some random places with supposedly good burgers, but I don't order a burger at a non-burger type joint.

the burger at j alexander is money. I hit it for lunch all the time. They also roll with very thin cut fries which I love.

Fleming's happy hour burger is the shite.

Heard great things about Doe's lunch burger as well.

Mason's is great.

Haven't been to Burgersmith or Fat Cow, and after all the threads on here I'm in little hurry.

Still though, best burger in town is The Times

If you are talking about Times that originated in Mandeville, I sure hope it isn't. I grew up a stones throw from Times so I am happy it has done well, but they aren't near that good. I actually would rather a Fat Cow Burger.
Maybe I'm still bitter that I finished the Hulk Burger (no longer named that) and they didn't even put my damned picture on the wall.

At least Times will cook a burger to order. So they have that going for him.

Not my fault all you know how to order is a cheese burger.

The buffalo burger, i'm certain, cannot be beaten.
