You want some burger with that bleu cheese?

Make the burgers a little skinnier
Or press on the top of the burger after the first flip to get some of the juice out. But dont press too hard or you'll a dry burger which no one wants.

Prolly easier to microwave the burgers a little before grilling.
That'll get the pesky juice out.

A few thoughts.
Might be too thick. form a little thinner.
Make a dimple in the middle before going on the grill. Not to press a hole in the center like a donut, but a definite dimple with your thumb - it will help keep them thinner in the center and not as likely to swell up in the center and accumulate too much liquid there.
If no one is looking, stab them with a knife as they finish cooking to release the liquid.
I think the main reason they do this is your butcher is adding water to boost the weight of the ground meat.
We stopped buying ground beef from our Winn Dixie because of the amount of water the meat rendered while cooking - maybe 2X what we would get from other grocers in town. My opinion? - They were adding water to boost the weight. We also found the ground beef patties we made from that Winn Dixie beef would do exactly what you describe. Got to the point where I would press them with spatula until they burst the water pocket, while on the grill, so that they didn't squirt a blob of greasy water down someone's shirt at the table.

That's just vile. So vile.
This is the food board, so come on folks, leave that garbage somewhere else.
Chicken, what brand burger meat did you use or from where did you buy it?
I use 90% from time to time, but it's never happened to me. I use the dimple method, but don't know if that's the difference.

The beef was from whole foods. I buy from there because I know that the cows were treated humanely before they were killed.
Anyhow, it may be a case of me eating them too soon after they came off the grill. I normally do the dimple, but may not have this time.
The burgers were not thick at all.

Eating them too soon could definitely be the cause.I let them rest or rather they have no choice but to rest while I put together my burger.
I wouldn't expect the Whole Foods meat to have any funky additives.
