2020 Kamado Grill’s-Current best?

I am about ready to retire my current 22.5” Weber kettle and am trying to decide on a Kamado. I know I need something at least the same size as my current grill so probably looking at the larger sizes like the KJ Big Joe or Primo XL, maybe even the Green Egg XXL.
If I go with KJ Big Joe is there a good reason to spend the extra $ on the III, or will the II get the job done?
Anyone have experience with XXL Green Egg? Is it overkill?
Any sleepers besides these 3 I should be looking at? Blaze, Grilla Grill Kong?
Finally, any tips on finding one of these below MSRP?

Vision is a suitable knock off and they're generally bigger than the standard eggs and what not, without being supersized like the XL's.

I'm a fan of KJ myself. I Follow Atlanta grill company for the KJ. They have a big sale 1-2 times a year and usually free shipping. Should be able to get a decent price on the Big Joe II.

BGE guy here but if I was buying again, I’d probably go with KJ.

Kamado Joe all the way, I don't even have one, but the amount of accessories they include is vastly greater than BGE. I love my BGE but if I were in the market I would get the Classic III.

Primo Oval XL here. Main reason for purchase was the larger footprint of cooking space, divided cooking chamber for indirect cooking and number of accessories available. Made in America, too!

Weber Summit Charcoal. All the benefits of Kamado, but lightweight and not brittle like ceramic.

I’m a primo XL guy...I like the oval so I can fit longer cuts of meat without cutting or tricks. I also like the divided firebox setup better with it being oval. I’d go with that or a Kamada Joe but I have no experience with the KJ. They just seem to have some cool upgrades to them (hinges grated and such). I can save anyone some decent $ on either of those brands. Have hooked up some TD peeps in the past nolagt3 at gmail if anyone was interested.

Bge is the originator but kJ is the innovator. Small little things here and there that bge should have done a while ago.

If you go with the Kamado Joe, check to see if there is a Costco roadshow in your area, they typically offer good deals.
Also, it may be too small, but the Slow n Sear Kamado has been getting good reviews.

I have the Monolith and am pleased. Would've preferred the Big Joe however.

I have a BGE and love it. KJ comes with more shite though.
BGE has the lifetime warranty which is why I chose them.

I've had both BGE and the KJ classic II. Now I have a 26" Kettle and love it. Though I always have dedicated smokers, if I knew I wanted to spend that money for only one cooker I'd really look at the ranch kettle.
Awesome size, and I think more versatile than the ceramics. Idk that I'll ever own another ceramic again.

I have the BGE XL and it does everything I need to feed a family of 6 or party of 30. BUT, if and when I get another it will be a Kamado. BGE has not changed. Kamado has made changes along the way that make it superior.

I got a big joe II last summer. I'll likely never buy another pit.
