I've been many times and have only had one bad experience. On the other hand, if this many people are complaining then something has to be wrong. I'm referring to the Metairie location too, not the Harahan one which I hear is worse.

Ive never had a famous Judice Inn burger that looked anything like that pic?
Mine always look like this;

No Cowbell or High Hat, no care.

That's a difficult site so I only saw company burger, but burgers fried on a flat top are rarely worth a top ten list. Unless they are seasoned it's just bland.
If Beachcorner in NOLA isn't on there, it's a bs list.

Twins/Southside Bakery was probably the best burger in Lafayette for a while. (Haven't been to either since the twins' mutiny so I'm not sure if it is still as good.)

Great bun, but tastes like a meatloaf sandwich. Twins' is the same while Southside is terrible. You pay $7.50+ for an underwhelming tasting piece of meat. You can get two at Judice Inn for that price.

Phil's Grill has always been solid to me. I dont understand the hate on here. LNCBOX has terrible taste, we know, but some of the other haters are puzzling

Phil's is mediocre. It might be a good burger if it cost $6 instead of $10. But for the money there are way too many other burgers to eat. Sorry that ruffles your feathers so. Are you Phil?

But they got the GOAT burger right, LPG. except it says only served at lunch...I've ordered it to go for dinner 2-3 times.
yep. it's always available.

Beachcorner is still just a bar burger. I enjoy them too but they are just not on the level of a quality restaurant burger.
Phil's gets unwarranted hate for obvious reasons but I still wouldn't have them in my top 10 504 list.

Beachcorner is legit.
Had one about 2 weeks ago after not going for a couple years and it was so damned juicy.

I had company burger for the first time and i was not impressed.
1. bread and butter pickles suck. They seem to be the hip thing at hip burger places. Give me dill or give me death.
2. they also have that "artisan" or "brioche" bun that is too soft and immediately falls apart as you eat the burger.
besides that the patties were ok, i feel like mine wasn't ground fine enough. i imagine some people see that as a plus.

Such as what, Luke? I'll grant you that, but not that fry top bullshite most places have.

Doesnt Beachcorner just have a flat top grill ?
Posted on 1/7/15 at 7:47 pm to Jake88
I couldn't remember I know its in the corner when you walk in. I like a good burger on a flat top. Beachcorner just doesn't have all the fixings you are going to get in at a restaurant. For starters the bun is just some seeded bunny bread type BS.
Have you had the burger at LPG ?

What's your hatred with flat tops all about? You have something against a really nicely seared burger?
