If he will truly miss 6 games I'd say 5th or so...depends on other values at that time.
I would have taken him in the top 3 overall if he missed 3 games or less.

Correct me if I am wrong but Brady got an injunction. It's one thing to appeal but Zeke will need an injunction to continue to play throughout.
In Brady's situation he was denying any/all wrong doing....if Zeke accepts pleas and such (I don't know the status of the legal matters) he can't deny wrong doing.
Id be pretty surprised if he doesnt miss some time this year...maybe not 6 but I think he will miss some. How much he missed will dictate how far or if he slides at all for me.

I keep hearing people say on TV that Bell was suspended 4 games last year in comparing him to Elliott. Bell's suspension was reduced to 3 games.
Eta: So, using that comparison to figure out where to draft Zeke doesn't make much sense to me.

Didn't they institute a new policy for domestic abuse after Ray Rice's suspension was deemed too light? I don't think they are going to budge on it because then do they have to hedge on every domestic abuse suspension going forward? Zeke better watch out on his appeal. Ha ing the suspension delayed only to run Weeks 11-16 would suck.

Because no ones 3rd back is going to be better than the starting running back for the Cowboys. Maybe if you draft RBs in the first 3 rounds, but even then it's going to be close.

That doesn't explain why you would have to reach for the backup just because you have Zeke?

If you draft Zeke, you HAVE to have someone to start at RB1. If you wait and someone (like me drafts McFadden) before you do, then you're basically stuck with a back that probably is outside the top 25, possibly 30. You have to make sure you get the back up.
Last year, I started Bell in the first round and made sure I got Williams in the 8th. I had a top 5 back after 3 weeks. Perfect replacement for Bell.

I'm in a league where you are allowed to have 1 keeper for next season. Get to keep him at same round you drafted him in, does this affect where you draft him?
Most people keep players they grabbed off of waivers to keep as their last pick, but I'm thinking about drafting Zeke in the 3rd in order to keep him in the 3rd for years to come..too low? Too high?
