the trade you made still had the same lopsided tendencies

i wouldnt have had as much of a problem with it being vetoed if it wasnt for the two fricking ringleaders involved in promoting a veto immediately going out and doing a similar lopsided trade, especially when i was told that if i reoffered it with slight changes everyone would still veto

if it would have been the other way and you were in my shoes, you would be throwing a bitch fit just like always

i still think that was all a hoax and he was serious and then just gave in at the end and said he was joking

stout, however, did prove that you could sell off and put yourself in a great position last year. he was a "minor league" team, but he did pretty well this year rebuilding his team. he just got unlucky and made some questionable decisions on waiting on griffen

at what point does this cycle end??

stout was set up nice coming into this season, and is still in it IMO.

He's already pawning off players for draft picks with 11 weeks left to play.

I mean just like 2 weeks ago he traded Griffin for Ray Allen in hopes to compete, and he's gonna sell 2 weeks later??

no offense to stout, but at some point he needs to just go for it. He has some pieces he could do a 2 for 1 or 3 for 2 and get instantly better

i don't see what your problem is cwill.

the point is that this system is broken and needs to be fixed. If we clarified the rule we wouldn't do this four times a season.

The rules need to be fixed.

my past whatever the frick you thinks have nothing to do with this.
hawes for speights is a fair trade that should not be objected to. End of story.

you and lester were the RINGLEADERS of that veto, and then after the veto, you decided to go and try to do the same thing, just like lester did. i really dont put much stock in to anything you are saying in this thread fyi

ron i don't remember the specifics, but i do remember that i felt that the trade fit under

you're such a fig.

you are gonna bitch about something someone does in this league, then when they respond on it, you're gonna play the "oh, i didnt know you would act like this and be such a big deal" card and say forget it?

there is no reason to doubt...it happened. you & rondo were leading the charge against both trades actually.

like i said, i have no issue with your trade. i don't see why mccain would try to help you out just for the hell of it.

See above - I said it should be allowed. I just think your claims about "sensibilities" and "fairness" are pretty empty considering your past.

maybe he's not trying to help me out at all.
HE PROPOSED THE TRADE. We weren't even talking trade. He proposed it to me out of the clear blue sky.

man frick yourself Cwill. Considering my past?!
When have I every tried to be anything but fair in this league. I've honestly done nothing but try to do right by every one in this league, up to scoring malfunctions, and up to free agent pick ups, and everything else.

i remember vaguely ron's trade. I thought it was horribly unfair and unbalanced to the point of unfair competition. It was not a who helps who situation. or I don't see what's happening here. It was unbalanced. And I said that if he shaped it up and tipped the scales more evenly, then it should pass.

but i've never vetoed a trade because it "helped another team" that was in the lead. or because i didn't see the benefit to one of the teams.
