not granger but oden = martin, and at a far more rare position.

I'm calm. I'm propped up in my bed in a down comforter with a saints game on. But that doesn't change the fact that I'm tired of you being a prick.

FWIW I feel a player that is out of contention trading a player for something that will not be bringing with them next year i.e. a keeper or pick is fishy as hell.

If he got a 7th round pick out of it I would not see a problem....bu this trade netted McCaIN zero FOR NEXT YEAR.

but that's BS. They are both marginal players. The trade is fair fair fair. Their stats are the same. Their minutes are the same. The players have similar potential and in some ways, as voiced by LE and SFP Speights has much more upside.

It is not for us to decide what another Fantasy Owner wants in his keepers. McCain values players differently than any of us. Speights has had plenty of times where he's broken out for 28 and 14. Brand is gonna be gone next season. He sees that and might think that he's a sleeper for next season, and wants the option early and for someone as cheap as spencer hawes.

Y'all might be doing me a favor by voting down this trade.
But that doesn't mean that it's the right thing to do.

This is not why trade objections are in place. And I think that should be clarified.

irrelevant.

it should have zero.

Which is why I want this rule revisited. The fact that there are four objections to a trade this even to me makes it a foregone conclusion that a trade that should be passed is going to be vetoed without just cause.

I think it high time we go and clear this up.

what if he's counting on brand being traded and hawes losing minutes to martin?

and that it will help him THIS year.

the point is, this trade is balanced, and it's not for you to judge what he wants to do with his own roster.

even more so since, he proposed the trade to me.

From my perspective he gave you Hawes for NOTHING

Thats my objection.

And to clarify...not that you gave up nothing...just that he gained nothing

But that's none of your fricking BUSINESS. what if McCain things he was getting Speights for NOTHING? That he was on the borderline of dropping Hawes. They are both owned in only 70% of the leagues.

That's not an objection consistent with the intention of granting owners the right to object to trades.

Judge it all you want. But it's not objectionable. And for all of your ballyhoo about the unfairness of the trade, I sat on this trade for two nights without pulling the trigger. I almost didn't do it.

Or they could be murdered or suffer a debilitating disease - really anything could happen. I should pick up some waiver fodder and bank on improbables.

Nothing will help him this year - he's as out of it as I am.

I think Ron was in the same situation last year when rmc proposed that lopsided trade to him. I'm pretty sure you were against that.

but these are things that are not improbable. In fact they are likely. Speights has been taking minutes from Dalembert and Brand all year. Both Dalembert and Brand are heavily involved in trade talks and are valuable trade pieces. Kevin Martin will return from injury in two weeks.

Other current owners see the present and future value in Speights.

you are obstructing an owner from doing what he wants to do. And McCain has proven himself to be a good owner in the three years this league has been in existence.

that's for him to decide. not you or anyone else. he has CP3. That could net him some players.

but this trade isn't lopsided. and the two are completely separate circumstances. If I voted against the trade last year, I'm sure it violated the second of my objection rules.

its funny rondo is complaining about an irrelevant trade with spencer hawes and speights when the trade he just made in our baseball league is one of the worst ive seen in any of these leagues over the years
