my opinions are mixed. i don't think it cures anything but i think it can help your body fix itself. it's like physical therapy, but i would choose PT for most problems
i will say when i dislocated/fricked up my hip really badly as a kid the medical doctors did straight up say it couldn't be fixed except for major surgery and i did an intensive chiro session for a few months and it went back to normal

About my 3rd year at LSU my back just fricking went. I was like hunched over walking and shite and had to prop myself up to sit correctly. And yes, its most likely due to my weight as I've gained steadily since HS where I was <200. Anyway, the guy did all kinds of cracking and some kind of heat therapy to my back. Cost me like $75 for the visit. A day later I felt pretty damn good. It may or may not have been him or just my body fixing the issue itself.
I know MDs are always hating. All I know is I felt good the next day.

That's all I am looking for. I have never head any back issues but I woke up the other day with a sharp pain, and now it hurts to turn my head. I've been reading that it could be a pinched nerve or something, IDK.

i have a shitty spine and i have a lot of experience in this, and i'd be a ton of money that's what it is
try some heat and aspirin to see if that helps with the inflammation
typically the pinching comes b/c your muscles tighten up in problem areas, and if you add in some inflammation that nerve gets hit. try the heat/anti-inflammatories and see how that works i'd imagine
of course i'm not a doctor. i'd bet they recommend some flexeril and maybe a mild pain pill
