Tomlin said Conner has a sprained ankle and that it's more significant that originally thought. Conner was hurt in the fourth quarter against the Chargers two days ago.
The team also announced that running back Trey Edmunds was promoted to the 53-man roster, and placed receiver Justin Hunter on the Reserve/Injured List.

With Conner out I guess I’m gonna move Ingram into RB2 and flex either DJ Moore @ CLE or Gore vs NE. Any thoughts?

That DR guy on Twitter was right! He kept saying high ankle sprain, and everyone else was saying “no that’s a leg contusion”. Turned out it was an ankle sprain after all

Personally, I 100% don't expect Conner back for fantasy this season. Obviously every sprain is different, but high ankle sprains are a bitch.

Might only be able to start 2 RBs. I can only start two and have Kamara/Conner so Lindsay has been on my bench. He's outscored both the past 3 weeks though.

So it’s Wilson, Samuels then Jackson in order? Jackson has upside but Ekeler is still getting carriers. The Pittsburgh situation isn’t ideal either with Ridley back there as well.
