You got Julio Jones 10th in a 12 team .5 PPR league? I almost need to see a pic of your roster.

Posted this to its own thread before I knew this was a thing. Thanks for the heads up VT! Will be reading through to provide some thought to others for sure. Thanks to anyone for feedback thoughts. Suffice it to say, it was a strange draft given some of the guys that were still available way later than they should be. Big concerns IMO are going to be TE and then potentially upgrading QB at some point.

How many teams? 12
Non-PPR, half PPR, PPR?
Any special scoring? (4pt Pass TDs)
Draft position? First

QB - Jameis Winston (8.12)
RB - David Johnson (1.1)
RB - Todd Gurley (3.1)
WR - Michael Thomas (2.12)
WR - Tyreek Hill (5.1)
Flex - Leonard Fournette (4.12)
TE - Evan Engram (14.12)
D/St - Denver (12.12)
K - Wil Lutz (15.1)

Bench -
Bilal Powell (6.12)
Jamison Crowder (7.1)
Thomas Rawls (9.1)
Chris Hogan (11.1)
James White (12.12)
Jacquizz Rodgers (13.1)

Debating dropping Lutz to hold an extra player here before the season starts, but we do have a weekly cap of 4 roster moves per week, so unless someone has a really good idea about a potential target to address TE (biggest weakness I think - thinking current Free Agent Gary Barnidge if I hear any info about a team looking to pull him in) might not make sense, as I'd still need to use a second move to drop someone and replace the Kicker before week 1 starts.

10th Pick
12 Team 0.5 PPR

1. Julio Jones (steal)
2. Melvin Gordon (steal) seriously, both of these guys should have been gone before picks 10 and 15
3. Jarvis Landry (I *love* his talent, but so far not looking good for chemistry with Cutler FWIW... certainly could change).
4. Kareem Hunt I dunno if he's going to be 4th round quality, but certainly just had the doors blown wide open for him to run away with the job.
5. Keenan Allen Love his talent, lot of mouths to feed.
6. Ameer Abdullah I'm in wait and see mode on him... so much hype in prior years but the Lions don't seem to know what to do with him sometimes
7. Paul Perkins (steal. steal. steal. I expect him to well outperform the 7th round pick.)
8. Tevan Coleman (seems late in a .5 PPR league, no? Nice pickup.)
9. Marcus Mariotta (I was trying to target him but he went way too early in my league. Love what they've done in the offseason to help him)
10. Delanie Walker
11. Andrew Luck (Niiice. That's a backup worth taking in double digit rounds.)
12. Corey Davis (Kid is legit. Will be curious to see if the production is there.)
13. Steelers DST
14. Caleb Sturgis

That's a hell of a draft man. Seems like WR2 might be the "weakness", as you don't have a lot of bodies and I'm not sure that Landry is going to produce at his draft price, but if you can just get one of Landry/Allen to give you decent production, you should be in good shape there. RB should be easy plug/play rotation behind Gordon.

12 team .5 PPR

QB Dalton What round did you end up picking him at? I like his chances to come in around the QB6-10 range
RB Crow Going to have value just due to volume, but you always wonder how much will they be able to run in some cases
RB Lamar Miller I don't like him personally, but as probably the 3/4 player that you drafted, would guess he was best available there.
WR Julio Going to do his damn thing again this year.
WR Golden Tate Not a bad WR2
WR/TE Davonte Adams Great WR3/Flex
TE Eifert If healthy, he's a beast

Bench
RB Ingram lotto pick... I don't expect a lot, but if it's there, could really pay out
RB Tevin Coleman I love him in .5/1 PPRs... particularly since he's going so low
RB Theo Riddick
RB Kamara dunno where you picked him but hopefully was a late round flier. He's got so much talent though that if he earns Brees' trust, he could be your weekly Flex
WR Ted Ginn I don't like him, but he's a deep threat in a Drew Brees led offense...
that's generally got value.

WR Kenny Stills
WR Amendola Personally don't think he'll have a lot of value, even with Edelman down... sounds like they want to limit his snaps to 20-25/game... unlikely to see more than 30% of targets on those plays...

RB may be a bit by committee, but your starting WR position looks really stout. RB bench looks better than WR though.

I don't have a lot of faith in Brandin Cooks this year, but he certainly *could* have a lot of value. Either way, I like Devante Parker a lot, so you should have a solid 1/2 WR no matter what. Mixon in a mess of a backfield, but once Elliott is back from suspension, he likely goes to a rotation at flex for you anyways... looks good man. Stafford I'm a little unsure of this year since after like week 3/4 last year he was essentially 0 or negative VOR. However, with Rapistburger's Home/Away splits, you could easily take the Matthew Berry approach with those 2 (I'd been targeting the approach in a couple of drafts before I saw his article last night). I like Rudolph at TE a lot this year as well. Solid draft dude.

RB: Bell is a no brainer. Hyde has great metrics and should do well in KS's system out there, though a lot of talk about the rookie there as well so something to keep aware of. Gotta like Terrance West's likely number of touches this season, but just don't think he's very good, so volume play. Jamaal Charles sounds like he just made the roster, but I'm not clear on how much play he'll see... mostly lottery ticket. Don't like Morris at all personally, but who knows what happens in that backfield in the first 6 weeks...

WR: Strong. Don't like who's throwing the ball to Hopkins but if they can get it close great. Too bad Fuller is likely out until October as well, as that would have helped with drawing some coverage. Watkins same kind of situation now... don't like who is getting the ball to him, but just get it close and he's solid. Matthews/Parker/Shepard are all solid WR3-4 level contributors with upside IMO.

Gronk is gronk... and his value had to just go up with Edelman down. Stay healthy and he's a possible league winner on his own again this year.

Big Ben/Dalton - just pay attention to the home splits for Ben. He's awful on the road, but with Martavis Bryant back, likely very good home games.

Good draft dude. Would be scouring waiver/trade options at RB since you have so much depth at WR.

Thanks for the reply. I feel the exact same way about the team. Thin but strong at RB. Mediocre but deep at WR.

Gronk is Gronk - when healthy he wins you games.

I have been in this league for almost 10 years and never drafted higher than 7th so a #2 position was foreign to me. Feel like I did an OK job with it.

12 team, 2 keepers, 1 pt PPR, 1/25 passing 4pt Passing TDs

1QB, 2RB, 2WR, RB/WR/TE Flex, K, DEF

QB: Winston, Luck (they have the same bye week but Luck was there in the last round)
RB: Bilal Powell, Theo Riddick, Doug Martin, Darren Sproles, Jonathan Stewart
WR: Odell, Mike Evans, Demaryius Thomas, Deandre Hopkins, Chris Hogan
TE: Zach Ertz
K: Janikowski
D: Carolina

I'll probably have to trade one of my WRs for a RB at some point and I will be looking to move either Luck or Winston at some point considering they share a Bye week.

Solid team.

Luck in the last round is a great grab. Can't believe he was there.

WRs are stacked but you'll need help at RB. You'll be fine as long as you make the right moves during the year.

My team:
10 team, standard scoring non-ppr, 4 pt passing TD
1QB, 2RB, 2WR, 1TE, 1 FLEX, K, DEF
6th pick

QB: Dak Prescott (11)
RB: Shady (1), D. Murray (2), A. Peterson (7), T. West (8), T. Coleman (9)
WR: A. Jeffery (3), T. Pryor (4), L. Fitz (6), C. Meredith (10), M. Jones (12), J. Matthews (13), J. Doctson (14)
TE: Kelce (5)
DEF: Steelers (15)
K: M. Prater (16)

I didn't want to go RB/RB, but Murray was there in the 2nd and was tough to pass up solidifying the backfield.

Still ended up with a good WR core if Jeffery stays healthy and Pryor can get into that WR1 conversation. Was happy to get Fitz in the 6th, and was real pumped to get Cam Meredith in the 10th...this was before the injury.

Now I'm obviously going to drop Cam and grab an RB flier in free agency.

Thoughts on the team?

10 team non-ppr 6 points for passing TDs

this was also the first year of us keeping two players(with no slotted value, just straight keep two players after each season). So for example Zeke still went 3rd overall, and Mccoy went later

I had 6th Pick

QB: Brady, Big Ben
RB: Freeman, Mixon, Henry, Woodhead
WR: Evans, Crabtree, Landry, Snead, Decker, C. Davis
TE: Kelce
K: Bryant
DEF: Chiefs
