Personally, my league only allows 4 bench spots. I think that is the problem for a lot of people who play in difficult and highly competitive leagues.

If you only have 4 bench spots, then you should have decent options on the waiver wire. Gordon is easily worth a stash, unless a few of your stars have injuries/bye-weeks at the same time.
