Back and forth. Up and down. It's been a roller coaster ride of information and misinformation, and we really aren't anywhere different than yesterday.

All of us are so invested in this based on a couple hundred bucks in prize money. Can you imagine how those who have a real stake in this feel?

shite how Gordon must feel. He'd miss out on millions if he stays suspended.

That's the number 1 person I mean when I say "people with a real stake". Josh, his agent, the Browns, etc.

@MikeTriplett: Payton said #Saints aware of reports that #Browns WR Josh Gordon could potentially play Sunday.

Edit - not sure if he means media reports, but have to think Payton is a little more plugged in.

I don't care about money. I care about that big beautiful trophy that I will replace my wife's decorations with on my mantle for the next year.

Not sure if I should get excited, or stay neutral...

Payton is a paranoid madman. He probably thinks about having a contingency plan for any and all remote possibilities that he can think of.

I have been pretty optimistic, but the big hurdle is 2013 failed test. Seems a sure thing that Welker is reinstated, but not Gordon.

However, he was suspended in 2014, so I'm not sure what the big deal is. It shouldn't matter if he failed in 2013...what matters is he was suspended under the current league rules. If this drug policy passes, current league rules say he shouldn't be suspended.

I don't know. It's a gray area.

If Gordon somehow does play, I wouldn't be surprised if Payton triple teamed him.

I remember last year I needed like 6 points from Dez going up against the Saints. Payton/Ryan literally shadowed him with like 3 guys and he caught 2 balls I think

Hopefully it's erased because the suspension was handed out in August of 2014...

He's got Ryan setting up a defense in case Jim Brown takes the field
